If PowerPoint Repair Toolbox fails to correctly insert media objects (such as images, videos, Excel spreadsheets, etc.) into a presentation, they will be saved to a separate folder
Question::
Why doesn’t PowerPoint Repair Toolbox insert media files into my presentation, but saves them to a separate folder?
Answer::
When creating presentations, users often use complex transformations to insert objects. This is done for ensuring the correct rendering of images, videos, Excel tables and other elements. While recovering data from PPT and PPTX files, PowerPoint Repair Toolbox cannot always return these objects to the presentation due to these transformations.
To make sure that this data doesn’t get lost, the program saves it to a separate folder. After that, the user can manually insert the saved objects back into the presentation.
